Wallets: Your Digital Bank Account in the Routefusion Manager App

What’s a Wallet?
In the Routefusion Manager App, your wallet acts as a digital bank account, allowing you to hold, send, and receive funds for your business. But before you get started, the wallet is tied to an entity—so the first step is creating an entity. Once the entity is verified, you can create a wallet for it.

After the wallet is created, it needs to be verified. Once the verification is complete, your funding instructions will become available, giving you everything you need to fund the account and start using it for payments.

You’ll see key details like the currency, a unique ID, and funding instructions for your bank. The app also shows two important numbers: the balance and the available funds.

Balance vs. Available Funds: A Quick Breakdown
Let’s say Account A has $300. That’s your balance—the total amount in the account. Now, you decide to transfer $100, but the money doesn’t move immediately. Instead, $100 is reserved, reducing your available funds to $200, while the balance stays at $300 until the transaction processes.

Global Accounts & USD Accounts—All in the Manager App!
Your wallet can represent not only USD accounts but also Routefusion’s Global Accounts, which let you tap into local payment rails around the world. Whether you're dealing with a dedicated USD account or managing funds across multiple countries, Routefusion wallets provide the flexibility to hold, send, and receive funds in different currencies—all from the Manager App.

Best of all, everything can be managed directly within the app—no API or engineering work required. Whether you're setting up a virtual account or expanding into global payments, it's all at your fingertips.
